Aisling Triggol, a 1.50m level competitor and representative of Topbet SA, stepped into the Peter Minnie arena at Kyalami Park Club on the 31st of October showing off a new ride: Crimson, a tall, 6-year-old chestnut gelding by Celestial out of an Intermezzo mare, previously owned by Martyn Swanepoel. With a deliberate stride and keen mind, Crimson shows plenty of talent for the higher grades as the pair tackle the 1.10m classes at Burlington Cup this week as only their 2nd competition together.
Aisling has been a consistent feature at the high levels of the sport with several horses in the 1.50m grades including Topbet Hatsy and Topbet Lord Abbendorp and has a wonderful string of competitive up and coming horses including Elijnn, Callaho Van Dango and her most recent addition, Crimson. Her commitment to her horses and their development has been evident over the years as she has regularly picked up rides and then helped to progress them up the grades with the assistance of her coach, Barry Taylor. As part of the Farnham family, Aisling has enjoyed many successes over the years and continues to do so with her strengthened group of horses.
With Aisling’s growing string of talent, and her dedication and commitment to her horses, it looks like an exciting road ahead for this duo and we look forward to observing their journey together as then aim to step into the open grades.
