Nicole Sime-Riley is a professional equestrian who plies her trade out of Sunny Park Stables on the East Rand of Gauteng. Not only is she an extraordinary showjumper with multiple titles under her belt but also a renowned coach with plenty of successes among her pupils, which led to Nicola receiving South African Colours as a coach in 2018. Located in Benoni, Nicola divides her time between her top horses, Sunny Park Stables Insaghi DB and Sunny Park Stables Eagles Lazer, her up and coming string of young horses, and coaching.
Nicola has enjoyed her fair share of success in the breeding scene as well, utilising her breakthrough stallion, Sharp Colt, as well as current breeding stallions Connoisseur and Insaghi. Of particular noteworthiness is that Nicola’s riding career only began at the age of 15, and Nicola has self-produced every top horse she has ever sat on. In addition to her competition, coaching, and breeding careers, Nicola is responsible for the operation and running of the Sunny Park Equestrian Development (SPED) programme, which enables underprivileged riders to enter the competition arena.
